Is the wifi board replacement the same for the np900x1b. Do you have a location where to buy the replacement board

Hi, Here’s an image taken from a teardown video for a Samsung 900x series laptop which hopefully may be of some help. It shows the location of the WiFi card on the motherboard. At 3:46 minutes into the video the card is seen being removed although I think that once you have disconnected the two antennas from the card you don’t have to remove the motherboard to be able to remove the card. Be sure to disconnect the battery from the motherboard as soon as it is accessible once the laptop has been opened to prevent any electrical problems from occurring when working in the laptop. You don’t have to remove the battery, just disconnect it. There is always power available a certain points on the motherboard even when the laptop is off. The laptop’s power button is not a power isolating button. It is merely used to signal the intentions of the user to the BIOS/OS. Think of the laptop as being in an extremely low power state when off and not that it is totally disconnected from the power. Also wear a grounded wrist strap to prevent any ESD damage to sensitive components that you may accidentally touch. Replacement WiFi cards are available online. Just search for Samsung NP 900X1B WiFi card to get results for suppliers that suit you. Why are you replacing the WiFi card? Have you proved that it is faulty and that it is not a software or a settings problem?
