Hi all, First of all thanks for the great guide, well explained and extremely useful. Recently salt water got into my camera. The wide-angle camera and flash stopped working, but the telephoto lens still worked fine. So I went bought a new one and repaired it. Cleaned completely the salt around the area, changed the flash and the cameras for brand new ones. Today after finishing and switching the iPhone on, the problem remains! The brand new flash and the brand new wide-angle camera does not work! Any help? Many thanks in advance.

The salt water probably got into the motherboard in that area and made the flash not work. You probably nee to replace the motherboard.

Have you tried hard resetting your device? Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously for at least ten seconds. After about ten seconds, you should see the Apple logo and can release the buttons. If that doesn’t work, it’s probably saltwater damage to the connectors on the logic board itself, which would require some microsoldering work to fix.
