I Have replaced multiple HDMI ports on the Playstation 4 But the system Im working on Now had some really old bad solder on the board after i removed the old HDMI so I cleaned it But now new solder wont stick to the pads…Any Help is appreciated
Get a solder sucker and remove all the old soldering.
Try using an electronics grade rosin based flux, It’s usually sold in a pen or syringe, any other flux is corrosive and will damage the board over time.
I would make sure that the board is totally clean by removing any excess flux or solder that still may be attached. You can do this with a board cleaning pen or you can also find it in a spray. I would also recommend using a rosin flux, like this rosin flux pen from Chemtronics.
