Chosen Solution
So, I bought a PS4 slim about a year ago and until now it has decided to stop working on me. Every time I press the power button or eject button, I get no response, no beep or light is shown or heard. Sometimes, it may turn on and stay on for a very long time and at other times it may turn on and quickly turn off. I am wondering if it has sonething to do with a faulty power supply or a faulty power cable that provides a weak connection to the console. TronicsFix please please provide a solution please.
Given the varied nature of the symptoms here, I would suspect the power supply. It is possible that there are components inside that are sensitive to heat which would explain the differing symptoms. Try replacing the power supply first and update this with the results. Dan
