iphone got damp in my pocket, ive wiped it off and let it dry but now only the top half of my screen works. So i cannot type or unlock my phone, no cracks on the screen has also had a screen protector on and ive tried turning on and off. Now it will not charge but still flashes up with please charge me sign. Thank you if you can help.
Take it to a reputable phone repair store as soon as possible for liquid damage evaluation. Do not plug it into a charger as this will cause irreparable damage to the phone if there is still liquid present on the phone’s mainboard. The longer it is left the more severe the liquid damage gets over time (components will corrode more in the phone).
