The picture is not fitting the screen on my MacBook. I have it on the lowest resolution and have reset the PRAM, but it still doesn’t want to fit the screen…quick research on apple led me to think maybe it could the PRAM battery on the logic board that needs to be replaced…..could this be true?…what are other signs that the PRAM battery needs to be replaced? Update
I have the resolution on the lowest setting and in the display preferences there is nothing else to adjust the screen image beside the the resolutions.
In the Mac help window it is telling me to click geometry and select the kind of adjustment I want to make. There is no geometry button, and another option is to drag the edges of the display icon, but I don’t even see that in the display preferences window either
If the original image is not the correct format (width and height) or is of too low resolution, then the image may not scale up correctly. Under Desktop in System Preferences you have several options, one of them may work better. Fill ScreenFit to ScreenStretch to Fill ScreenCenterTile If this answer is acceptable please remember to return and mark it accepted.
Go to preferences, click universal access, click Zoom button off
Set resolution higher. Please upload a picture of what you are seeing.
