I’ve just replaced a iPhone 8 Plus screen and the touch won’t work when the ribbon cable to the home button is plugged into the phone but the home button works then if you unplug the home button ribbon cable the touch works? Why is this and how can I fix it
From memory—it is pin 14 in the connector. I can’t remember the name of the line. Consider pulling pin 14 out of the home button connector.
