Chosen Solution
My camera sends a message that it cannot recognize my regular lens and to reconnect it. This worked the first few times that I got this message, but then it stopped recognizing the lens altogether. The camera DOES recognize my zoom lens and I have no issues taking pictures with the zoom in place.
I have a similar problem. I dropped whentype camera a mmHg d it does not swork since. It does not recognise the lens which was in the drop. It does recognize another lens. But only the auto mode works. The shutter and aperture modes do not work..
