Video monitor will turn on and say “battery empty” but wont charge. red light doesn’t light up when plugged in, only a month old
Hi, There is a 1 year manufacturer’s warranty on the product, (plus an additional 3 months warranty if you have registered the product online) If the warranty period is still valid for your particular device then consult the warranty statement found in the User Guide as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement.
All you need to do is take out the battery and put it back in. Then it will turn on. It has happened to me twice in 6 mos.
Yes, I’m utilizing the warranty as I have purchased a replacement battery and charging cord, to no avail. Now I’m sending in warranty info. This is my second of this particular unit to have the same problem, though this one was within the one year warranty, and the other was just outside a year.
