My plasma tv won’t turn on. The red light blinks 7 times. I have tried unplugging it and holding down the power button but to no prevail. What else should I do?? Update (09/10/2016) The exact model is Panasonic TH-46pz85u

@brix the 7 blink code is a common issue with one, both, or all of SC board, SD board, and SU board. The most common failure is the SC board. It was such a big issue that Panasonic even offered a warranty extension because of this. This is model specific so we need your exact model number. Update (09/11/2016) @brix your model shows that the 7 blink code means SC floating voltage SOS and again leads to the SC, SU, SD, D, P boards.

A failed SC board is the first choice on this.
