Every time I try and play a cartridge game, it never works I also hear this grinding sound, I have no idea why this is happening, can someone please help
You can try replacing the cartridge slot. The grinding might be coming from thing on the pins or in the slot itself.
Before replacing the slot, you could try a trick to clean the card reader pins first. get some isopropyl alcohol and thoroughly soak the contact points of any cartridge with a Q-tip.put the cartridge in the slot and insert/eject the cartridge repeatedly for about 3 minutes.try it again and see if that fixed it. hope this helps!
