When I’m listening to my JVC car stereo and I’m listening to the tuner I have bass coming from the amp through the subs but when I listen to the music I have downloaded on my phone it has no bass at all I tried a different phone and still the same thing

Hi, Check that the equalizer settings are what you want when you are playing audio using a BT connection. The user manual states that the settings are memorized for each source i.e. tuner, BT and CD, which I assume means that it can be set differently for each input type to suit what you want.
