I have had the device plugged in all day and it still won’t turn on. My brother has the same speaker and uses my charger so I know that is not the problem. I’m thinking the battery is dead or maybe the charge port is malfunctioning. What can I do?

Trek max will work even without a battery connected. (power supply must be connected). I have one that works only when fully charged for a short time unless charger plugged in. This indicates a problem with battery voltage sensor. Same battery works fine in another unit. Your problem may be a worse case of this. I suggest Remove battery and test it.
