I have a 5 year old Toshiba model 55L621U TV Today the picture just disappeared while watching. I have tried resetting it by unplugging it, but no luck. It just turns on, displays the “Toshiba" logo momentarily and then goes black. And when I say it goes black, I mean off. No sound either. Prior to this, I have never had any issue. Any thoughts?

@tylersturgeon so it never really gives you anything past the few seconds of the Toshiba splash screen? You disconnected every video input etc., to make sure that none of those are the issue? Let us know if any of your LED’s give you a blink code etc.Try this. Disconnect absolutely everything from the TV. Unplug the TV and hold the power button down for about one minute. After that connect one video source only. Try to use a local source like DVD player or game console. Then plug your TV back in and try to power it up. Let us know what you get. This could be a failed Firmware issue as well as any board on the inside of your TV. Confirm please if this is one of those Chromecast TV’s. If so, there have been multiple issue that the Chromecast update literally bricked the TV. Again it is a possibility until we can rule other thing out or in.
