We have been having difficulty keeping our refrigerator and freezer cool lately. After pulling the plug and resetting it it does cool to a normal temperature. It also stays cool if we use the power cool mode, but when we use the regular cooling modes the refrigerator warms up rather quickly. there was some noise a week ago or so for a few days. No noise now though.
Hi, Here’s a link to the service manual for the refrigerator. Go to p.43. Start at Sect 4-1-3-2 Self-diagnostic function during normal operation and check if there is an error code being generated after you have manually start the diagnostic program.
Freezer is what keeps the fridge cold so if there both failing its the fridge that has a problem first thing to do is clean the back and fan and coils ,cooling fins , if thats not the problem check the compresser fan to see that its running if so compressor could be faulty or need checked leave anything past cleaning and fan replacement to a tech check both fans and clean under it and behind it take plate of the back after its unplugged take big paint brush and shop vac and clean everything you can get to
