My ps3 controller battery went dead then my charger broke and then my controller dropped then i got a new charger and now the controller wont turn on How can i fix this ?
You need original Sony USB cable that came with the console. Others might be too weak/feeble to get needed power to controller. If cable is working with some other controller, it doesn’t mean it works for Sony.
there is a tiny hole on the underside of the controller, very near where your left index finger would normally point to. There is a reset button under there. Plug in the controller then use a toothpick or what not to push the reset button, and it should start charging.
I have the same problem, but when I was playing my controller did’nt work anymore when I wanted to charge it WITH the original USB controller. HELP PLEASE!
easy sony made me a bit upset when i opend my 3 controller that stopt do anything turns out sony made the bord work if the keypad is forced on it if a bit not it whont do anything try aline it again and hold it and have power in it too and if you forced it right it start all 4 red led lights and you have it working like new hope this is the same that happend to you its a cheap by sony but its not worth pay for reset the cable when you can do it yourself this is the fix to the problem

If the light don’t come on the controller when you hold it and you know that’s supposed to turn on even though it’s dead and then even if it’s all deleted I charged it for 2 hours still don’t come off what’s wrong with it and how do I fix it
try charging it overnight or however long it takes then try to just press the ps button
un skrew it and take the mother board out check it out nothing wrong then get a new controler or get a new battery for the cotroller and bip boom bam done
I put brand new battery’s in my control and it still not turning on
