I took the cord out of the firestick to use the cord to charge something else. When I tried to reconnect the power cord to the firestick, it was as if something was preventing the cord from connecting. The cord connects to my other fire stick devices but not this one. So my power is just a charger cord and my fire stick is essentially useless.
Are you sure you are putting it in correctly? Take a magnifier and a flashlight and look inside the plug hole and make sure its not gotten bent up or it doesn’t have anything stuck in there.
I had this exact same problem. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get it to plug in. I took a pin and very GENTLY slid it behind the male connector and lifted up just a little. Voila, plugged right in!!
I’m also having that problem. I’ve tried other cords as well but none of them will go in. I’ve looked in the stick and nothing looks bent or any foreign objects. I unplugged the cord from the fire stick because I was having the issue of it saying no signal. Are these two issues connected? Is my fire stick now garbage?
