After multiple attempts of trying to power on my Polaroid SNAP, it still won’t turn on. What gives??

I just restarted it by inserting an earring in the hole in the bottom

How to fix my polaroid snaptouch if i left it not charging for a long time? Is the battery dead? And when i charge it, it makes a wird soung…

If you did left it out without using it, It is probably just on sleep mode. Try turning it on and back off for it to work. It that does not work maybe it just died and you will need to charge the battery.

My polaroid snap was not turning on either. I figured out that the problem was that a little plastic piece under the pop up visor was stuck. Touch it with your finger, try to release it and the camera will turn on. Good luck!

it said it is fulley charged but won’t turn on

  1. Flip the view finder open like normal
  2. Inside the view finder cut out, look for the micro switch on the right side. The side toward the timer and shutter button.
  3. It’s probably stuck. Use a pen or other small object to flick the power switch on.

i bought the polaroid snap and when i turn it on all the light come on. they stay on but i cant do anything and then it turns off after sitting there for awhile

I have a Polaroid snap touch. On top it has the pop up flash, a power button and the red picture button. When I press the power button the flash pops up but the welcome sound does not turn on and the screen does not turn on sound is not on. I’ve charged it all night too. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I tried all of these suggestions except the last one and non have worked what do I do know???!!!

I’v Burning in the main board, how can get it.

can not get mine to turn on whatsoever its been charging for two weeks and nothing what a bad investment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven’t used my Polaroid in, what? A year? I got it for Christmas and used it nonstop. Then it died. So I left it forever. Today, I turned it on, took a few pictures, then put it to charge. Now at Eight, it won’t turn on, but makes sound when I try to turn it on. The sound is the sound that it makes when it turns off, and it was really weird… any answers?

Anyone any ideas why my daughters won’t turn on? No lights or nothing when charging? Bought this as a Xmas gift

Try pushing the viewfinder to the left when it pops up. There is a power on button that ‘should’ be activated when the viewfinder pops up, but sometimes there is an issue and so you need to manually push it to the left, and it ‘should’ turn on.

Happened to me! I thought my Polaroid Snapshot was broken. Then with a toothpick I did this: there is a small hole next to the charger input to the left. I inserted the toothpick there and it turned on instantly!

Hi everyone I havnt used my Polaroid snap touch for a long time but tried using it today after a long time of not being use and it wasn’t turning on. So I started to take it apart and check that it’s reading the right voltage etc as I assumed the battery was dead but the issue turned out to be the ribbon cable coming from the switch where the shutter button is. After removing and reinserting the cable it turned on instantly I hope this helps some ppl.

The same thing happened to me. It would not turn on at all. My Viewfinder would not pop up and when I charged it a red light would turn on and then it would turn white but still nothing. I tried to reset it to with a pin. Nothing worked. I even connected it to my computer and it would not read it to download the new firmware. FINALLY I tried to push onto the viewfinder again and tried to see if anything was stuck in there all around the edges. I pushed on the edges trying to get it to pop up manually and it worked. The viewfinder popped up and the whole thing lit up. Now it is charging and the 3 red flashing lights are on. My computer also detected it. So you may need to manually get the viewfinder to pop up since that is what turns it on.

This is the third snap touch that I bought none of them wont turn on .Now I have to send this one back to bad camera a waste of time and money , I am a disabled vet I dont need this stress dont they test these cameras

I had this problem, too. What worked for me was:

  • I reset the camera by pushing the reset button at the bottom
  • I plugged it to the computer while still turned off
  • I turned it on while plugged and the MSDC screen appeared. My computer was able to read it as an USB external device, so
  • I deleted all of the photos to free-up its memory Once unplugged from the computer it turned on finally. REMEMBER to ALWAYS remove the device safely from the computer, or turn it off before unplugging it.
