I dropped my phone and it turned off and started getting really hot and won’t turn back on I got the screen replaced but it still won’t turn on
Hi Alexa. Any time an iPhone won’t boot it is most likely the cause of a dead or broken battery. In your case, if the phone became hot, the battery could have overheated and died. If you have the expertise, I would try replacing the battery to see if it can boot up. Afterwards, if it is not an issue with a dead battery, it is possible that there is an IC (internal circuit) short or issue, in which case you should probably take your phone to a repair shop to get it checked out. -Alex
