I replaced the battery. Before replacement the phone was working properly but the battery lost power quickly, especially when out in cold weather. I cleaned the charging port. When plugged in, the apple logo shows briefly. But the phone won’t turn on.
Ronald Erickson double check your work and make sure everything is properly connected. Install your old battery and see if that changes anything. This sounds like you may have a bad battery.
