I am out and about, and need to access the Internet for e-mails and general website information, and the pages won’t load. How can I fix it?
Make sure that your Wi-Fi is turned on. If it is in airplane mode then turn it off. If it is a secure network than its going to require a password to connect to it. Make sure that you triple check the password you entered while trying to connect to it. The password is going to be case sensitive so if you have any capital letters or special characters make sure you enter them in as capital letters. Check and make sure that your connecting to the correct network.
i had this same problem with my Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star, what i notice is that it accepts onlu USIM, not ordinary SIM, if it doesnt connect to internet with a particular SIM, try another.
I rang Vaya and they told me that my Alcatel phone only works on the 3 G network (which I confirmed on the specifications) and therefore I cannot have both phone calls and internet access as it is a single band phone. I can have either phone calls or I can access the internet but I cannot have both at once.
So, my coworker just had this issue with her Alcatel phone. I went into the section of her settings that covers her cellular data. The switch for cellular network was off (4gLte), therefore it was not allowing her access to the internet via metro/tmobile. I switched it back on and gave it a restart. It works fine now.
Assuming I understand correctly and you have internet at home, but not in the car, I would say you have data issues. I would talk with your service provider if the following doesn’t work: Check notification panel for mobile data. Should be on. Wifi calling should be off. There are no pending software updates. Make sure you update if there areTry a network reset. Search in settings if you can’t find it Let me know if you need more clarification.
