Chosen Solution
Dear all, I just bought a new One Touch Idol 3, and after approximately 6 hours of charging (with the original charger) nothing happens when I try to start the device. Hard reset (power + volume up) etc. hasn’t produced anything either. Suggestions?
AFAIK, the very first boot (white animation + phone temperature rising noticeably) may take up to an incredible 10-15 minutes delay. Be patient and, meanwhile, connect the power supply. If nothing new happens after 15 minutes, then return the phone for repair. Please note - here, I’m only talking about the 5.5" version (aka TCL-6045). The 4.7" may behave differently.
