My washing machine will agitate until about 2 minutes past the 6 minute mark, then go dead. The timer sound also stops at this point. For a little while, we could push on/ sit on the lid and it would restart, but no longer. Model # 110.20852990
Lynda Ply this alone “we could push on/ sit on the lid and it would restart “ would make me replace the lid switch. It could very well be your issue. If you have a complete model number for your washer, we can most likely help you with that as well.
