I have a MacBook A1398 and it was working perfectly until I didn’t use it for a week and then it will no longer turn on. It wasn’t dropped and nothing was spilled on it. The charger was replaced along with the battery. The battery light is orange and will not turn green even after hours of charging. When I reset the SMC the charging light turns green then back to orange. When I try to turn the MacBook on their is no sounds, and the fans don’t turn on. Any ideas as of why this is happening?

Lets do this: Pop off the bottom cover and disconnect the battery following this guide: MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2015 Battery Replacement We only need to go the Step 5. Now with nothing plugged in the ports setting the system on its side propped open with the MagSafe port up. Press and hold the power button for a good 15 sec’s not plug in the MagSafe. Did your system spontaneously startup? If it did then your battery, charger or the charging logic on the main board has a problem!
