I recently acquired a 2010 Macbook Pro. When I plug it in, it charges with no issues, but when I try to turn it on, it makes a beeping noise - 3 short beeps repeated every 5 seconds. But when I hold down the Command, Control and Power button, the beeping stops, but it still does not turn on. Any suggestions???
Three beeps is a memory error! Reference here: If your Mac beeps during startup Reference this MacBook Pro: How to remove or install memory. Find your system and check to make sure your modules are the correct ones for your system. You may need to get a fresh set to test your system.
