Chosen Solution
For the past month or two my laptop has been only powering on when it is plugged into the wall charger. I did some research and it told me to click on the battery symbol at the top of my screen and when i clicked it it said battery needed to be replaced. I replaced it and i am still having this issue. Also sometimes when it powers on using the wall charger the date and time is way off.
Well, the good news is the charging logic is working correctly! The battery is charging. Sadly, the MOSFET logic which switches between the line and battery as failed to power the system. This is a part that’s on your logic board and will need to be repaired or you could just replace the logic board.
