My laptop shut down (low battery) and when I try to charge it (tried to wait for 30 min) it only shows the low battery screen with the connect to power symbol. Charger kept sparkling when put into socket, plastic not melted but metal prongs slightly melted (edge part a bit rough). Is the problem with my charger?
Hello, I’d advice you to try to use a different charger and see what happens. Meanwhile, try to move the charger adapter around and see if it starts to charge it. If you get the computer to start charging try to do SMC reset and PRAM reset and let us know what happens.
