Chosen Solution
I just got an old Laptop out from my basement in hopes of getting it working, I tried powering it up but it had an error saying it couldn’t find the Hard Disk Drive. After awhile of digging I found some old HDD’s but they did not work either. I’m not sure if I just need a brand new one or what. (Also all three of the hard drives I tried are about 6 years old.) Can someone please help me with this frustrating problem?
@kevin1122 before anything else you need to find a hard drive that fits and has an operating system on it. you may also require your original system disk to install drivers for the OS etc. Looks like it will run with Win XP Vista 7/8/10. so whichever system disk you have it needs to be installed on your hard drive.
