I can’t turn my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 on using the on switch. It will turn on when I plug it in to charge it. I can’t turn it off, I need to wait for it to go to sleep.
I have this issue as well. I have found that if I squeeze the case next to the button and then press the button it will turn on. I don’t know how to permanently fix this issue, but it works every time.
