Kenmore washing machine (model 40272900) won’t power on unless I unplug and plug back in. Single circuit to the washer with GIFI outlet remains powered. Once powered up it runs through a whole cycle but once it is done I can’t run another load without unplugging and plugging back in.

Some machines must be level and the load in the machine must be balanced. When you unplug and plug back up you are resetting the safety controls on the machine. As your saying it does this every time I would make sure the machine is level.

Is there any indication there is power to the machine? If so, is there any error codes? If not, it sounds like you have a failing controller. It would be a lot cheaper just doing your unplug routine.
