My iPad has a completely black screen, but I can hear it when I plug it in and sometimes I can hear it make the typing I sound when I press the screen. I have tried to press the volume and home button for 10 and over seconds, but the Apple logo comes on and the screen brightens for a second before going completely dark again. Thanks for your help!
Not entirely sure, but sounds like a issue with the display. If your willing to sped the $$$, maybe try replacing the screen?
