I recently got my screen replaced but the front/ back cameras will not work. Also the top of my phone near the front camera gets really hot and the battery drains pretty quickly now. I took it back to the repair place and they tried replacing the front camera but it still did not work and they do not know how to fix it( very poorly run company)
Sounds like the ribbon cable that goes to the front camera assembly might be torn. Is Siri also not responding to your voice? A tear in that cable will likely cause the secondary mic to not work either.
