Chosen Solution
My device has a dull grey screen with no pictures or words visible. I can tell my device is off and I can not figure out how to turn it on. My device has been charging in a working power outlet for 12 hours.
If the device has been charging for 12 hours then it may be the battery. I would see if replacing the battery will fix the problem.
