The device is fully charged but when I hit the power button the power light comes on and I think its going to come on then I hear a faint pop and it turns back off.
How old is your device? How long have you owned it? What’s the charger specification for it? 110, or 220? Did you plug it in anything prior to it not working? Did you drop it prior to it not working? I’m no professional, but the description you provided for your problem doesn’t seem to make it any easier for people to help you with. Be a bit more specific maybe?
