My tablet takes several days to charge ans sometimes does not charge at all.

This issue can either come from a defective battery or a defective charging port. See the ASUS Transformer TF101 TroubleShooting Guide for steps on how to replace either of these components.

Replacing my charger fixed it for me.

Try to use another line or transformer to check if the connecting line or transformer broken.

Had to replace my K010 after only 3 months because it stopped charging. Also, disconnect when you have full charge.
