Why Won T It Turn Back On Ipod Touch 5Th Generation

I had it working then 5 minutes later i tried to use it again and it kept turning off then turning back on again and again then it just shut off and wont come back on but when i use the power button and the hone button it heats up a little but won’t turn on please help

Check the power switch on top make sure you don’t see the orange lock color beneath then try turning it on if this is not the problem make sure battery is fully charged and do a factory or hard reset
