Hi, I replaced the earpiece on my phone, I did it quickly and didn’t touch anything else, when I turned it on the message “Unable to activate Touch ID” appeared, after a while I realized the 3D Touch wasn’t working, is there a way to fix it?
Most likely just a bad screen that needs to be replaced. The smaller cable coming from the screen next to the other one is for 3d touch + home button together. That flex cable tends to go bad with a tear or even a microfracture that can’t be seen without a microscope. Bad engineering design by apple for the 90 degree cable bend.
