Chosen Solution I have tested the charging cable, which is not the problem, and fully taken apart the laptop, as well as tested the battery itself. both of those are not the issue, and I had the laptop working fine for 2 years before it started this. It does not accept a charge, and when it does, it may only charge to 50 or 75% then die out again, or not recognize that it is plugged in at all, and refuse to accept a charge entirely, as well as not even powering on even when plugged in....

Chosen Solution Transferred everything from the old, and twisted, back housing, to the new back housing. Nothing happens when I try to charge and turn on. I am assuming that it is some kind of grounding issue but I don’t know where to look. You mentioned the old housing was twisted. If it was, the logic board could have conformed to that shape too. Putting it into a normal housing could have forced it back into place, which put tension on the board, which could have damaged the board....

Chosen Solution Hi, I looking for a way to have a 100℅ offline device. Would it be possible to install on smartphone mainboard a custom switch to physicaly disable wireless components? I own oneplus 7 pro and sony 5ii . I would be interested to mod one of them. Thanks in advance @alotanoa a simple switch on the WiFi IC power supply might just do the trick. Hardest part will be to find the schematic to know which line to use....

Everyone, My EMC number is 2429 but when I try to locate parts or guides it always refers to a model number that is different from mine. iFixit says that the model number for EMC 2429 is model A1312. However on my box is says model A2115. is there another place that has my model number written? Or is there something I’m missing? Thanks in advance, would really like to repair my sick iMac....

Chosen Solution Hi I changed the touch screen of my moto G3 and for my very stupid mistake i’ve switched the power on button before to connect the new touch screen! The phone started with vibration and very hot! it was not possible to stop it in any way. After the full battery drain i tryed to connect the touch but it doesn’t charge the battery and no life.Can someone please tell me if I have some possibility to restart with the phone?...

Chosen Solution My charger is plugged in, but the laptop does not charge. If it is not charger, try removing the battery and then putting it back in. This works for me sometimes but you probably need to replace your battery completely. Hey Rodrigo, Try taking a look at this troubleshooting section: Dell Inspiron won’t turn on. Try using an electronics grade rosin based flux, It’s usually sold in a pen or syringe, any other flux is corrosive and will damage the board over time....

Chosen Solution I haven’t used my Nintendo switch for a while. And it shows the charging thing in the corner but it won’t show the home screen but it’s a bright black screen and it won’t work. And every time I try to turn it on if just flashes back to the bright black screen. And it won’t show that’s charging it just shows that it’s dead. You are saying there is light coming from screen, if so it sounds like it is frozen, so hold the power button for around 12-15 seconds until you cannot see the light any “bright black light” once that happens, let go of the power button and then press the power button again to power unit back on....

Please help. @alexhillman going by your description, it does sound like a bad battery. I would start by replacing that. If the battery is good, then you are having problems with either the charging port or the charging circuitry, so best will be to start with a battery....

Chosen Solution Whenever I try to turn on my gear S3, it displays the Samsung logo then immediately turns off and won’t turn back on. It is at 100 percent but won’t turn on. If it does turn on, the battery dies within 15 minutes and if I attempt to turn on power savings mode, it turns off and won’t turn back on. Sounds like a faulty battery. Unfortunately I cannot find a proper location to purchase a battery for it....
