Chosen Solution my pc is dead. the charger is ok but the power button wont turn on and no power lights at all. if any thing the power may have been reversed when entering pc jack, as the charger wires may have been crossed. what would that do? and which component would go first? Hi, Just wondering why the charger wires would have been reversed. However most likely the first power regulator that the power supply encounters in the laptop, would no doubt have suffered damage along with its’ surrounding complimentary components....

Chosen Solution This approximately 3 year old touch and pen tablet has an area of the touch panel that requires significantly more pressure to register touch. In this same area of display there are brighter blotches that appear when display is white. I’ve seen these blotches referred to as “white pressure marks.” The digitizer still works without incident. I’m considering sending this back to Fujitsu to have repaired as I otherwise find useful....

Confirm the ff: [] was the device dropped, got in contact with liquid. [] was the battery drained (not charged regularly)? [] Does it charge? (does the charging indicator light on? does the screen light up?) if yes keep charging it for about 30mins....

Chosen Solution phone will vibrate but the screen stays black I recently dropped my phone in the ocean. So I put it in rice to dry it out. Everything seems to be working but my screen. I mean it charges and turns on but the screen is black. I was wondering if there was a way to fix it.

Chosen Solution Just cleaned with CC Cleaner (latest version) and also ran the Registry cleaner which discovered and fixed several issues. It shut down. I thought this was because of a lack of power but it is plugged in and the white LED light is showing but it will not progress booting past the initial Asus logo. I have tried restarting and resetting by holding down both the home and the power buttons for 15 seconds and I now have the camera light on as well but still a black/blank screen, It is running on Windows 10 Help, please!...

Chosen Solution I have a murry 20 HP motor will not turn over when the spark plugs are in. But will if they are out. Any recommendations? @dougtractor, could be a bad starter which will not have enough power to turn the engine over once it is under compression. Depending on your engine, this could also be caused by valves that are out of adjustment. That would cause a compression release to not work and the starter does not have enough power to turn the engine over....

Chosen Solution I have a GE Profile microwave/ convection oven over the counter and it was hit with a power surge. The fuse checks ok but it won’t do anything. Any suggestions as to where to look? I only found the one fuse. It is a Model JVM1790 Cause 1 Line Fuse If too much current passes through the microwave circuitry, the line fuse will blow. Chosen Solution Everytime I try charging my headphones the red light doesn’t turn on and they won’t turn on anymore. Sounds like you need to do some troubleshooting with a multimeter to check voltage levels coming from your charger and also disassemble the headphones to make sure the charging port is ok, correct voltages are present etc.

Chosen Solution Hello all, Before diving in to the question, it is important to note that the laptop was water damaged… The laptop works perfectly fine with the exception of it not recognizing the battery, thus the laptop only turns on while being connected to the power cord. The battery icon on the top right displays an X with “No battery available”. This is mirrored in the System Information interface under Power, where all values for this section display “No” and “0” (as in the battery is not recognized)....

Chosen Solution I get a no hardware installed and grayed out WiFi symbol with an X in it at the top of my display. All red dots in the network preferences for Bluetooth PAN, Wi-Fi and Thunderbolt Bridge. No AirPort listed. I had been watching streaming video and closed the lid. When I came back later, NO WIFI capability. I have reseated the AirPort Card. Found one of the three wires that come off of the card and are stripped of their plastic coating and joined together at where the hinge attaches…one of them was loose....

Chosen Solution Hi. Monitor has yellow spot on top. Changed the cable. Changed graphics card slot. No change. Sounds like the monitor was damaged. It could have failed by itself or someone could have knocked it over. But it looks like the screen is damaged.

Chosen Solution My Sharp Aquos LCD tv model LC-C6554U has some vertically oriented oval-shaped yellowish discolorations in the upper left corner, upper right corner, and upper middle. The rest of the picture is perfect and these areas are only visible with a light image color, such as sky or snow. I’m hoping this is repairable as the rest of the TV functions perfectly. Any thoughts? Thanks. Rick Dortch could be a backlight issue as well as other things....
