Chosen Solution I recently received a broken surface pro 4. The previous owner had removed the screen (not gently) in order to take out their ssd. It has a few hairline cracks on the actual lcd screen in the top corner. When removing the screen they simply cut the ribbon cables instead of unplugging them. After ordering and placing in the new cables as well as a fresh and blank ssd, the laptop will turn on but will not display anything on the screen....

Chosen Solution This usually happens after one or two hour’s use. Since I haven’t been able to find a corresponding process in the task manager (at least not one I’m comfortable trying)I have to restart the whole system in order to get my connection back which is, to say the least, very frustrating. I’m running Windows XP - service pack 3. The laptop itself is a refurb so I can’t be 100% sure of the hardware....

Chosen Solution Recently my iPod died from low battery and hasn’t turned on since. I’ve tried to reboot it by holding down the power and home button for 10 seconds, I’ve tried the iTunes reboot approach as well (when you plug your iPod into your computer and try to force update the device), it didn’t work. However, now ever since I tried the iTunes update reboot, if I press the power button or try the home/power reboot maneuver, my screen immediately turns on and a few seconds later shows the iTunes reboot screen even though the iPod isn’t plugged into anything....

Chosen Solution Recently (in the last 6 months), my iPod classic Video (30GB) has stopped powering up when I start my car. Now you did not tell us what model your Motorola One is so check something like this video for instructions. I had this issue with my Motorola One (XT1941-4). Carefully cleaning out the USB-C port carefully with a toothpick whittled down to a flat oar shape removed a lot of pocket lint and gunk that had built up in the port, and allowed the cable to fit more fully and fall out less....

Chosen Solution This would be really helpful. There are plenty of tear downs for the 1020 and 1520, however those have access to screws and I can’t find any on my device. The Icon is currently the top tier Windows Phone and is identical the the 930, so having a repair manual would be very beneficial. Adam, you sure about being identical to the 930?
