Chosen Solution I have recently purchased an Xbox and when I plugged it in and hit the power button nothing happened, the light on the controller lights up but only when I hold the power button or eject button. I noticed that the fan spins for a second when I push the button down and when I opened it up all the soldering seemed fine and there was some epoxy or some other white stuff on the power supply but I got it all off and it still won’t work....

Chosen Solution Like the title says, my xbox seems to turn off only when I play games. I had it idling on the home menu for about two hours, but 10 minutes into Forza 5, it shut off by itself. If I attempt turning it back on afterwards it turns itself off again. The only way for it to turn back on is to unplug everything and leave it overnight. I’ve opened literally every part of the xbox including the PSU and blew out all the dust I could find....

Chosen Solution I recently received a Sony Emount 50mm 1.8 and when I connected the lens to my Sony A7ii camera it is not recognized and I can’t control the focus or aperture of the lens. I double checked to make sure the camera still worked with canon lenses and an adapter and they don’t have any problems. This is my first Sony lens for the camera and would expect it to have less problems than the canon lenses with the adaptor....
Chosen Solution My iPod touch wont charge,It recognized the iPod in DFU mode so i put it into DFU and restoring it using ITunes, but that didn’t work.Also when i plug it in and leave it the for an hour or so it still doesn’t charge, only the charging sing is appearing like in the image. Are you charging using an official Apple charger? I’ve found other chargers, and USB port charging can often not provide enough current to Apple devices to charge them properly....

I tried to reset my old iPhone 4s, but it wouldn’t let me sign in to iCloud to delete it, even though I was already signed in. Chosen Solution We replaced the top cover unibody due to a faulty keyboard and to replace the battery. We used the ifixit video for this repair. Dismanting was fairly straight forward with the exception of disconnection of some of the connections being harder to remove than appeared in the video. After replacing the unibody we reconnected all the parts (which are many) and installed the new battery. We then attached the back cover and tried to fire it up....
Chosen Solution My iPod is locked up. the screen stays lit all the time. it wont sync to the computer. What should i do While connecting the iPod to the computer, hold down the Shift + Ctrl keys in Windows (CMD + Option keys on a Mac). This will stop the iPod from auto sync’ing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go....
Chosen Solution wont read any disc on the homepage You most likely have a bad “eye”, otherwise known as the laser lens or reader. Unfortunately, XBox optical drives are “married” to the motherboard, so you cannot simply replace the drive with another. I invented a workaround though… If you can find an old XBox with a good optical disc drive; you can remove the “eye” or laser lens and swap it with the one in your XBox....
Chosen Solution My iMac will come on with the Apple logo a spinning wheel and a loading bar. The bar takes around 30 minutes to fill and once it finally finishes the wheel keeps spinning for a couple seconds and then the whole thing shuts down and I have to start again. What do I do? Chosen Solution Was working fine until 2 days ago then power on light went out and won’t come back on. There are a few LEDs near the power socket that light briefly when the unit is plugged in but otherwise it won’t fire up. Reset doesn’t help. BACK UP YOUR DATA!!! Time Capsules have an average life of 18 months. It is possible this is a warning sign that the end is near (although I truly hope it’s not)....

Make sure that you are having a good working cable. Check your dock connector to make sure there are no bend or broken pins....
