Chosen Solution My disc draw keeps ejecting It sounds like you have a calibration bug with the light sensor that controls the eject button. Try turning off all the lights in the room, and attempt to insert a disc again. If it is the light sensor, you should be able to insert and eject a game without it repeatedly ejecting. Chosen Solution The radio in my 2002 Jetta will no longer work since an attempted break in a while back. They never actually got into the car so the radio was untouched. Chosen Solution Won’t read or play games or DVD but shows disk on screen The optical drive most likely needs replacing. These systems are quite old now and the optical “eye” is either dirty or plain ol’ tired from it’s age. The drive will detect the presence of a disc regardless of being able to read it or not. Unless, of course, it’s completely broken and won’t physically function at all....
Chosen Solution I replaced the charging port on my X220 with a USB-C mod connector. After reassembling, I get 1 long and 2 short post beeps and a Real Time Clock Error. To rule out the possibility of the USB-C connector being the issue, I reinstalled the original connector and observed the same issue. Chosen Solution I have put new batteries in and checked they are the right way round. When I press the power switch the camera status lamp on the back flashes green but nothing else hapens. As soon as I take my finger of the power button the flashing stops even if I hold the power button down for several seconds (approx 20). Helen Smith, check your lens. Red light is on with charger in and has a black screen with battery icon not showing green or any “voltage” moving up as it would be charging and it says low battery. Chosen Solution While playing on my machine I lost internet connection. I did the usual checks and there was no problem with any other equipment in the house connecting. I have rebooted and after that reset the system and nothing has worked. As I have reset the system I am now locked out of the machine altogether as the machine needs to connect to the internet during initial set up.
