Chosen Solution The motor starts and runs for about 10 seconds then stops. When it stops it appears the fuel pump starts up and continues to run, can restart with same results. It’s most likely gummed up carburetors, or the fuel valve is turned to off. May also be too low on fuel. I would dump a can of Seafoam fuel additive into the fuel tank and see if it starts to clear it up....

If your power supply “popped” then it can be anything inside of it ;) but usually there is no fuse in them I would blame capacitor that during time losses its dielectric. Mind also to chech if there is no visible damage to the circuit - especially where the power cables are soldered....

Chosen Solution This mac was repaired 7 months ago by Apple with a (hopefully) new logic board replacement. It has since died whilst operating google sketch up software. Not a complex model and no high quality 3D renders were being processed, it just shut off with no warning. The only sign of life left is the charging light on the Mag charger. It has not responded to any combination of shift+ alt + ctrl + power, ctrl + R + power to reset system management....

Chosen Solution Only stripped down to repair broken hinge. Didn’t replace any parts Just put everything back where it came from. Power light comes on dvd drive spins but nothing else happens. Screen is blank. Any ideas? The best course is to check the cables and connectors. It is possible that a cable is being pinched by the new hinge. Did you follow ESD safe procedures to prevent static shock from damaging the electronics?...
Chosen Solution Put new batteries in. Was working fine, with slight slow down of music at times. Took two batteries out to try in another walkman. When I put batteries back in I tried new AKG headphones from my Samsung phone and now it won’t power up at all. Any idea’s. Thanks. My advice is to take it apart and see if the switch fell off the green card aka motherboard....
