Chosen Solution The wireless WiFi network keeps falling out and to reconnect I have to take a restart. After that the WiFi connections is re-established for a while. This pehenomena does not occur on other devices that I have connected to the network like iPad, PC Laptop, printer and iPhone! What can be the problem? Given the system is so new I recommend you bringing it in to the Apple Store or authorized Apple service center to have them check it t out as it would be covered under warranty....

Chosen Solution Can I check if battery works without hard drive Hi, If everything else is OK the laptop should turn on without a hard drive installed and then progress to a point where there is a message on the screen saying that there is “no operating system found” or something similar due to no HDD (or any drive type e.g. USB, DVD/CD ) connected with a bootable operating system. I cannot find any standalone software that will allow you to check the condition of the battery as most test programs require an operating system (OS) to be installed which means either a HDD or one installed on a USB flashdrive connected to the laptop, so that the laptop can boot using it....

If you hit test button it dumps ice into bucket and refills and tone sounds that it’s working. Chosen Solution So this phone has been dropped in water. I opened it all up, screen and everything included and let it dry for a month. Tried turning it on and whilst the touchscreen worked (I could feel vibration from entering passcode) the LCD display was completely busted. I ordered a new screen replacement and tried it initially, everything was working amazing when I hadn’t yet put the phone together. I then proceed to put everything together, securing the battery in with double sided tape but apart from that, nothing out of ordinary....

Chosen Solution Over the course of 6 months, I noticed my PC performance dropping due to RAM shortage, but after purchasing a new stick of RAM for my PC, occasionally the stick could not be read no matter how many times I properly seated it. And what makes matters worst is that the old stick had no issues when I tested both sticks. Chosen Solution I bought this laptop to refurbish it. I got a new display, top palm rest along with keyboard, aftermarket battery, and aftermarket charger. My first time fully taking it apart and replacing damaged parts, it worked. I was able to login and take care of some stuff. I didn’t adhere to the battery and I also forgot to install the backlighting cable. I went to finish it off by fully installing the battery and reconnecting that wire....

It not it may be that the charge port is faulty or loose from the board and therefore the battery won’t be charged so that the headphones work or perhaps the battery is faulty. Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to visually inspect the charge port to ensure that there is no obstructions preventing a good connection and that the pins are a;ll staright and parallel with each other and not bent, broken or missing....

Chosen Solution I replaced the glass on my ipad 2 and am getting some strange results. I can see that i have nicked the power button cable on top right hand side. The device will not charge. The volume, home and power button will not work. My question is, if the power, mute, volume flex cable has been damaged on the top right, would this stop the device charging? Or have i damaged the logic board connector for the charger during strip down?...
