Chosen Solution I recently bought an un-tested, spares/repairs XBOX ONE S from eBay. The console booted up fine, but I soon discovered the blu ray drive didn’t work, I couldn’t insert a disc into the console. The drive was totally unresponsive. Stupidly after setting up a wi-fi connection I agreed to install the required software update. This sent the console into a loop where once it got to “applying update” the console would turn off, turn back on for about 10 seconds, then turn off again....

Chosen Solution the 0 button on my keypad fell off when I was cleaning the keypad. I’ve tried putting it together with sugru, but where can I get a replacement? Hi: I would look for a used one on ebay where you can also use the front cover. Steffen

Chosen Solution I just replaced the starter and alternator and my car still wont start, wont crank, wont turn over at all, when i turn my key absolutely nothings happens except the buzzing sound from my fuel pump nothing else Test the battery. Typically, if it is the starter, when you turn the key, you will hear clicks. If it’s the battery, there will be no sound. Maybe the solenoid? It sounds to me like a power issue....

Chosen Solution Hello, my name is James. I have had my nexus 7 2013 for about a little more than a year now, and was wondering why it won’t charge or power on. I am guessing it is the charging port(the port on the tablet itself) but am not too sure. It might be the battery but I don’t think so because the battery quality is pretty good. Chosen Solution I can’t see any suggestions for wifi networks in my HTC M9 mobile.. it’s turned ON .. and u scan for networks and nothing shown … please can you help me? Try powering off. I tried turning on and off airplane mode and that didn’t work. Finally, just turned the phone completely off and let it sit for a minute. Powered on and the Wi-Fi came back when I went into Settings and turned it to the on position....

Chosen Solution The display of my MacBook Pro was broken so I decided to fix it. During the repair I noticed, that One of the antenna cables was loose in my MacBook. In the image I try to explain, what exactly broke. The cable was still connected to the pin marked in orange on the image and the whole thing was disconnected from the mainboard. Now, after the repair, the display works fine but I have WiFi connectivity issues....

Chosen Solution My iPhone 7 screen broke when the phone was still new, so with all the original parts. Its turned off, but restarts don’t work and my mac doesn’t recognise it. I want to do a screen replacement but I’m not sure if that will fix it, given the fact that it doesn’t seem to respond to being connected to the computer… will replacing the broken screen fix my phone?...

Chosen Solution The wire whisk is stuck on the rotator shaft. I’ve turned it up and to the left but it’s not coming off. Also not sure if the rotator should be moving but it does in its planetary way while trying to remove it. If the planetary is moving something has probably failed inside the gearing mechanism. You should be able to grip the drive shaft with needle nose pliers and remove the whisk easily....

Chosen Solution Why can’t I update my iPhone 6s software to IOS 13.5.1? I wouldn’t recommend updating it to 13.5 there have been quite a few people saying that the phone won’t update and can make it boot loop. Make sure you backup your phone as soon as you can in case this happens.

Chosen Solution Just wondering if a 2018 display retrofitted onto a 2017 machine would work? The 2016 & 2017 systems share the same part, and the 2018 & 2019 systems share the same part. Sadly Apple altered the things enough that using the wrong display for your system won’t work properly. If you where hoping for TrueTone function to work on your older system I’m sure it won’t. Stick with the correct display for your system....

Chosen Solution Hi, whenever I turn my Xbox 360 on it gives me an overheating error. I took it apart and tried to dust it, but nothing changed. Please help!! Maybe go further in, may be more dust than just the outside of the opening. Fans on CPU/GPU, etc. Other than that, try replacing thermal pads, or thermal paste on the CPU/GPU(There the same thing on a console. (basically integrated graphics)

Chosen Solution I dropped my phone in a hot tub recently, but I quickly grabbed it out of the water and dried it off completely. I turned it on and it seemed to be working fine. Then while I was using it, it died. So, I plugged it in, and the little red battery thing came up. So I left it for a bit, and then the apple came up like it was gonna turn on....

Chosen Solution After running out of battery, I plugged my tablet in to charge. After letting it charge for a couple hours, I tried to turn it on, but to no avail. I checked my outlet and confirmed it was giving power. it could be a bad battery or it could be a bad charger port. best bet is to use a multi meter to measure voltage from the battery/battery connector to tell if power is flowing to the battery....

Chosen Solution I cannot switch between songs because the mode selector will not move. What can I do to fix this? It is possible that the slider is broken or something inside the machine is preventing it from moving. Make sure to keep the slider and the track clean. If it still won’t budge, you may have to open the machine to see if something is stuck inside it. If nothing is blocking the track, the slider may be broken physically....

Chosen Solution My son uses an iphone 6s. He was using it yesterday and the screen went black. After that, we could not get it to power on. I have tried a hard reset, I tried to charge it overnight (it shows nothing when charging), and tried to connect it to itunes (it is not recognized there). Do you have any other suggestions before declaring it dead? Check all connectors on the battery and screen and try measuring the current thats going into the phone and seeing if it takes a charge, if it does it’s likley the screen....

Chosen Solution Can my television be fixed. It will light up but not power on. @akhatz possibly but this seies was plagued by poor solder connections, bad connectors and bad components. They were mostly sold by depeartment stores and due to the high rate of waranty work and reruns even those stopped selling them. Chosen Solution Macbook suffered a spill I have taken it completely apart cleaned all contacts and logic board but still I get no sign of life at all…someone tell me what I should do next? Did you clean the logic board with 99% isopropanol? If not, then I would suggest doing so as other cleaners aren’t as effective. Then, you can either bring the laptop is for logic board repair at a reputable third party store, or you can try fixing it yourself....

Chosen Solution Hi, sorry I just picked a random modem version I have a Huawei wireless router. The WLAN and Mode light keeps flashing. For a while I have great internet connection, and then it disappears (say every 15min). It comes back by itself eventually. How can I fix this, please? Chosen Solution Xbox one will not turn on would not make a noise, now I have changed the the RF board on the front and it now makes a BEEP but no lights come on, the power brick always stays orange, I can use my second Xbox one Power brick and it will do the same thing but go from orange to white to off. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?...

Chosen Solution Everytime i turn on my wireless connections in the settings within 20 seconds my 2ds crashes. Anyone know what the problem is and/or how to fix it? I have had this problem too. It may have something to do with the CPU being damaged or your wifi connections are somehow corrupt. Try this: (*) Try deleting the connections and re-adding them. If that doesn’t work, try changing the CPU....
